After two years' preparation work and after a short testing period we started to accept songs for the contest officially on 15.6. We now have about 20 country managers and the recruitment continues. The 100 mark of the amount of song entries was reached on 24.6. and the voting will start in september.
In addition to the media, we have informed thousands of professionals in the music industry of the start of the contest, amongst whom there are hundreds of producers around the world. We believe that several of them will be listening to the participating songs and we hope this alone will advance the careers of the participants. Currently, we have contestants from 28 countries which are Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Kazakhstan,Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and USA.
So already now we can say that the contest will be truly international. Together we will show to everyone that there is a lot of music in the world which has not yet received the attention it deserves.
